2.1 The sub-committees took evidence from BECTU and Equity.

 

2.2 The witnesses agreed to provide further information on how the exemption to the Smoke-free Premises Legislation works in England.

 

2.3 Equity agreed to provide sub-committee members with the figures for the last few years to show the proportion of its members who are Welsh.

3.  The Smoke-free Premises etc. (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 - Evidence Session 4

3.1The sub-committees took evidence from the Local Health Boards and Public Health Wales.

 

3.2 Public Health Wales agreed to provide sub-committee members with information on the following:

 

-     Smoking cessation rates in Wales and England from 2007, by age group;

-     Figures showing changes in the prevalence rates for smoking in Wales and England since the smoking ban was introduced.
